Dr. Platshon attended Duke University where she completed her Bachelor’s degree in the field of Psychology, specializing in child development. In 2005, she received her Doctoral degree in the field of School Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley. Dr. Platshon has practiced as a School Psychologist in local school districts for the past 14 years and is highly knowledgeable about school-based support services for students with unique learning profiles. She currently resides in Redwood City with her husband and three children.

Dr. Platshon is a Licensed Educational Psychologist who specializes in educationally relevant assessment, diagnosis, and consultation support services for children, adolescents, and young adults with Learning Disabilities, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Anxiety, Depression, and Autism Spectrum. Services are focused on helping families and schools understand more about a child’s strengths and needs, and what types of supports are necessary to maximize their personal, social, and academic potential. Assessment services include psycho-educational evaluation, educational evaluation, and intellectual evaluation. Following assessment, time is scheduled to discuss the findings. Assessment results and recommendations are provided in a written report. Educational consultation services are available to individuals and families, schools, and other agencies.
Monday - Friday: 7:30am - 4:30pm
Saturday - Sunday: Assessments scheduled over weekend hours on an individual basis.
